To illustrate the sound of a conversation between a father and his teenage daughter, i drew a door slamming. I approached the problem that by having an overbearing father, it would cause him to be protetive and restrict his daughter, and since she is a teenager, she would retort and yell at him in rebellion. They would yell back and forth at each other without really listening, so I was trying to demonstrate that their "conversation" would figuratively be a conversation between doors slamming. They don't listen to each other, therefore literally and figuratively shutting the other out.
