Integrity Campaign Series #3
2006
Digital poster
Finally, the last poster is a more comical way of approaching this campaign, but I think it gets the point across. At the top of this poster, it reads “Once a cheater…” and you see an image that I modified and altered on Photoshop to make it look like Minnie Mouse was cheating. Donald Duck is sitting in front of her, and there is a teacher with a stopwatch, saying “Minnie, this is a timed test. No books allowed!” yet Minnie is cheating by using her book. So this is supposed to show Minnie as a child, perhaps in Middle School, or High School, taking a test and cheating. Then the second half of the poster is when Minnie is all grown up, and she is in a hospital giving birth to boy and girl twins! However, something is wrong here. The babies are not baby mice, instead they are half mouse and half duck! This is supposed to be the shocking part of the image. Mickey is standing on the side, in rage, looking very angry because he just found out that Minnie “cheated” on him. She had an affair with Donald, and that is why her babies have half mouse traits, and half duck traits. As silly, funny, or stupid as this image may be, it does have a very important point. At the bottom of the image, it reads: “ …Always a cheater.” This shows that if you think cheating is okay in your childhood, you will probably continue to cheat in adulthood. And that is an even more serious issue.
